Honda has launched what everyone has been waiting for - the new City. The third-gen Honda City is surely going to intensify the battle in the already mad upper C segment. In addition, we feel, this car will also force people to wear their thinking-hat back those who are contemplating to put their money down on an entry-level D segment car. Just as Toyota launches the Corolla Altis in India, its archrival Honda is working on a segment lower. Honda’s City has been a prestigious brand in India ever since its launch in 1998 and the model has received regular facelifts. The car that we see running on roads these days is the face-lifted fourth generation model and the fifth-gen City is all set to debut in the international market and is expected to come to India soon after its international launch. Toyota Corolla Altis in India

Having enjoyed the status of a mere ‘speculation’ for a long time, Corolla Altis is here. Finally! Launched in 2003, the ninth-generation Corolla sold well initially but the fizz died down once Honda introduced the Civic in India. Honda Civic, owing to its killer looks, performance and futuristic interior has been an eye-candy and the best-selling car in the segment.
