General Motors India has launched the new Chevrolet Tavera multi-utility vehicle at a ceremony presided over by General Motors President and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Fritz Henderson, now on a 3-day visit to India.
The new Tavera, launched a day after GM India inaugurated its new, state-of-the-art vehicle manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Maharashtra, is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its class. It combines trouble-free performance with comfortable passenger accommodation. The Tavera recently finished second in its segment in the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2008 India Initial Quality Study.
